Wellington Sea Kayak Network (WSKN)

What: Motungarara Island (off Kapiti) Overnight camping.
When:
Saturday, 2 and Sunday, 3 February 2019
Where:
Assemble Paraparaumu Boating Club 8.00 a.m.
     Depart 9.00 a.m. (high tide)
     10.30 a.m. arrive Motungarara Island
     Returning 3.00 p.m. Sunday 28 (low tide 4.00 p.m.)
     arrive Paraparaumu 4.30 p.m.

Potentially a day paddle to visit Karl’s family’s land on north end of Kapiti, though tide wise this might work better on Sunday as part of the return to Paraparaumu.

Note: We offer Koha to the owners to help with upkeep of the island.
